If the fielder attempts to get either an FC or FO and is unsuccessful (and not because of any error), do you still mark the batter/runner as FC/FO or Base Hit? lenders payday loans online

No, it's not a hit. The batter still reaches by a fielder's choice, as long as you determine that the fielder could have made the play on the batter had he chosen to do so. lenders payday loans online

Dear Morgan, Hoop is correct. Score a FC any time a play is attempted on a runner (whether or not there is an out made) and in YOUR opinion the play could have been made on the batter/runner. Sometimes this doesn't seem fair to the batter (when all runners are safe), but that's how it goes. When a runner is forced out at any base it has to be a FC for the batter. But if the fielder merely looks towards a base (checks the runner, for example) before throwing late to 1B, no error on the play, score it a hit. Dave Newton lenders payday loans online
